Pamela's work
About Pamela
I'm a multidisciplinary designer and maker, and the founder of Amitola Workshop in Ruthin, North Wales. My work spans resin art, personalised gifts, murals, window displays, signage and upcycled pieces, bringing together colour, craftsmanship and storytelling.
After studying design at degree level, I trained as a mental health nurse and spent 18 years in nursing before returning to creative work full time. That experience continues to shape my approach: thoughtful, personal design that connects with people and brings warmth to everyday spaces.
Amitola honours my mum's wool shop and the creativity I grew up around, alongside the practical making skills passed on by my dad. Today, I share my shop and studio with my son, a photographer, creating a space where our different creative practices sit together.
I'm interested in bespoke commissions, creative collaborations and opportunities to design meaningful objects and welcoming spaces.
