Born in Uruguay, Pablo has a Bachelor of Science in Communication (BA/COM) by Universidad de la República, specializing in Advertising. He also attended to different Copywriting and Creativity Labs. Pablo started as a Copywriter in Lowe Ginkgo in 1998. After being promoted to Sr. Copywriter, he moved to Leo Burnett Montevideo. In 2001, he became Creative Director of Lowe Venezuela, where he worked on a regionally basis. Three years later he transferred to Mexico, where he had an active role in the consolidation of creative powerhouse Publicis Groupe's Olabuenaga Chemistri. At Olabuenaga he was Group Creative Director until 2010. In 2011 he joined Lápiz Leo Burnett Chicago as Creative Director, working for P&G. He moved back to Mexico two years later, leading global creative efforts for Revlon at Y&R, serving primarily US General Market and Latin America region. In 2015 he became Group Creative Director at BBDO, working for many blue chip clients. He was promoted as Executive Creative Director, managing the Creative Department of the agency with Benjamin Pedrero.
Pablo has been recognized by many festivals. Silver and Shortlists at Cannes, metals at Clio Awards, NYF, LIA, El Sol, El Ojo and FIAP. He obtained awards at festivals such as Uruguayan Advertising Circle, Venezuela's ANDA, Mexico's Golden Circle and Effie Awards.
His work has been featured in Luerzer's Archive, Communication Arts, adsoftheworld and adlatina.
He has been jury in many advertising festivals (NYF, Wave, Lisboa Ad, Ad Stars, El Ojo, American Advertising Awards, Chicago Ad Fed among others) and has been invited to share his experience in universities and creativity schools.
