About me
Before joining FCB Inferno, Owen was one of the founders and Creative Chairman of Farm Communications, a top-50 UK advertising agency with clients including Daimler Chrysler, the UK Government and Nestle.
He started his career globetrotting through Chiat/Day New York, LA, Sydney and Brisbane before joining Chiat/Day London. He became one of the founding members of St Luke's, the first advertising agency cooperative, and then moved to HHCL & Partners. HHCL & Partners was named Campaign Agency of the Decade in 1999, and in the same year, Owen left to set up his own agency.
Owen has worked with numerous brands from Mercedes and BMW to Tango, Pot Noodle and the UK Government. Since being made Chief Creative Officer of FCB Inferno, the agency has won 27 Cannes lions including two back-to-back Grand Prix and an inaugural Glass Lion.
Owen has helped form FCB Inferno's fiercely media-neutral approach to communications-winning Lions in categories as diverse as E-commerce, TV Craft, Social & Influencer, Mobile, Brand Experience, Health and Activation. He has sat on numerous industry award juries including D&AD.
In 2019, FCB Inferno's innovative StorySign campaign for Huawei and Pay It Forward work for the Big Issue and Monzo made FCB Inferno the 2nd most awarded agency in Europe, gathering over 50 awards to date including 10 Lions, 7 One Shows, 4 D&ADs, 3 Clios, 3 Marketing Week Masters, and 5 Grand Prix / Best in Class. Owen is incredibly proud of the agency's reputation for force for good campaigns that transform businesses.
