Currently with various projects in development, and most recently returned from a stint as Consulting Director on a movie for Technicolor - where he spent 8 weeks on site at their Bangalore studio, Owen is bringing his experience and storytelling to a wide variety of projects.

For five years Owen was Director of Animation and Cinematics at award wining Relic Entertainment, based in Vancouver, Canada; proud to have collaborated with some of the best game designers in the world. Projects he directly contributed to include the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War series.

Owen started in film and television in the late '80s in England, working as a compositor and later, Post Production Supervisor. In the mid '90s he began directing commercials; primarily in London and Amsterdam. After a year, he had directed successful spots for many high profile clients, when a new opportunity arose.

In '96, Owen was recruited from the UK to bring his experience from the worlds of digital post-production and live action directing to Mainframe Entertainment, Inc. of Vancouver, Canada, where he started directing episodes of the iconic CGI animated series, ReBoot, Beast Wars, War Planets and Weird-ohs. His thumbprint can be seen throughout Mainframe's productions during the time he worked with the studio.

Owen directed over fifteen television episodes for the studio, many of which were award winning productions, before he switched gears to longer format storytelling and directed the world's first computer animated direct to dvd movie, 'Casper's Haunted Christmas'.

Following this, he directed the highly acclaimed video debut of 'Barbie' as 'Barbie in The Nutcracker' for Mattel Entertainment in 2001. The film went on to win many awards. Owen directed two subsequent 'Barbie' direct-to-video feature films, 'Barbie as Rapunzel' and 'Barbie of Swan Lake', before making the jump over to games in 2005.
