About me
I am an Illustration and Animation graduate, throughout my course, I have completed projects that involve, logo and asset design that have later been used in moving image projects. I believe that I can be an asset as I am highly proficient TV Paint, Toon Boom Harmony, Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects including the Duik plug-in. I have been able to demonstrate these skills by taking part in the Anim-challenge and getting shortlisted three times.
I have worked in a team at university, on a group branding project where I lead our team. I helped to create a style guide, logo design, a series of promotional animations, and merchandise. Although I am very comfortable working in a team I also am proficient in working independently- working on all of my other university projects on my own and studying from home during the various lockdowns.
During my time at university, I volunteered as a student representative- supporting and developing working relationships with other students whilst communicating students' needs and opinions with lecturers. On many occasions, a high degree of tact and diplomacy was required.
I have worked under an art director at Shotopop as a junior FX animator, where I learned how to work in a team in a professional environment: participating in daily briefings; using the expertise of others to improve my work, and communicating with team members throughout different projects. I have also been working as a freelance digital artist and communicating with clients- adapting my art to their specifications.
I have received training with both sound and video recording equipment whilst at university: recording dialogue inside and outside a sound studio and subsequently adding this dialogue and sound effects to animations and live-action videos I have produced.
