About me

My name is Oriella and I am currently working as a freelance fashion stylist. I work for a wide range of clients such as Marks & Spencer, Adidas and Littlewoods, which covers advertising, catalogues, celebrities and editorial. Previous to being freelance, I worked full time on women's magazines as a Fashion Editor. This not only included styling the fashion stories, it included creating the whole concept of the shoot. I also had the responsibility of booking models, photographers and hair & make-up artists. I sourced locations and organized the whole teams traveling arrangements, for shoots both in this country and abroad. All of this had to be done within a budget.

I enjoy the whole aspect of producing shoots from the start until the finished product and find that I am missing the creativity of art directing. I feel that Art Directing would be a natural progress to my career and that I would be able to use my experience within this field. As a freelancer, I have had to be versatile and adapt to different situations and this would be an added bonus for this position.
