About me

I am a graduate of Fashion & Textiles Design from the University of Portsmouth and also attempted the PGCE Secondary [Art and Design] at University of Brighton. It is my aim to inspire the next generation of artists, and creatives through the various mediums within Art, Textiles and Photography. I thrive on breaking the rules and finding experimental ways to explore creativity, often with methods or techniques that are lesser known.

My graduate collection 'Removing the Mask' marks the foundation of my passion in how being creative can be extremely beneficial for individuals that fall into the SEND category. The Sensory stimulation and exploration of arts, crafts and design offer an outlet that can massively help SEND individuals regulate and explore their bodies and minds without being confined to the rigid structures of more academic subjects. That being said, I aim to make those connections between logic and creativity throughout my teaching career, taking a holistic approach in nurturing the balance of these within the art classroom and beyond.
