About Omoniyi
I just finished my studies at the University of East London, studying Bachelor Of Arts Honors Film and video theory and practice. Am hoping to get a 2:1 when my result comes out in September.
Please allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. Let me just start by saying that I am a creative thinker and my mind is like a river overflowing with ideas that cannot be stopped. I am every were with my ideas but always on a single part to reach my destination, not even a river dam can stop my way of thinking. I may overwhelm you with all my inputs into your company but am sure it would serve a good purpose in helping and supporting to build your companys creative thinking and end results.
The enclosed offers an insight into my experience and career to date, highlighting multiple achievements as a retail manager working for leading fashion and leisure organisations. Leading successful sales and service initiatives has enabled the demonstration of my excellent management, organisational and customer-focussed skills. So I know that I can be a good addition to the team because I know that I would be able to understand the business market and covert it into format that everyone am working with and for can appreciate.
Progressing steadily into Management roles has enabled me to appreciate all aspects of store management, including full accounting, defining and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs), motivating a team, and methods to retain and increase customers and spend per visit. This all-round ability complements my continuous commitment to improvement, both within the team and for the business I am working for.
A passion for merchandising and building successful relationships has been evidenced. By my exceeding targets continuously and uplifting sales through innovative product and service promotion. Ongoing training of team members has enabled a diversity of skills to be matched to operational functions and has further supported enhancement of store performance.
In all roles, an integral element of my responsibility has been to maintain the highest level of professionalism and organization. My ability to balance a diverse range of demands, and priorities them effectively, has resulted in my success to date.
I know that I dont have much experience in media industry and you may take this as a weakness in my CV, I want you to look at my strengths because there are people out there that dont have the amount of experience I have in the management side of the retail industry.
I have gone out there to do some freelance jobs in video productions, photography, picture editing and audio productions. With all these experiences have put together I know that I stand above the rest in the media industry. With this in mind, I do hope that you may wish to discuss my application further and I look forward to hearing from you.
