Dear Recruiter:
I am writing to outline my extensive experience in 3D character animation and successful track record working with clients. I believe I possess the skills, qualifications and vital experience necessary to make a very significant contribution to your company.
I successfully completed a PGDip in Character Animation at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London in 2010 having previously achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Arts at Chapman University, California. These varied and challenging courses equipped me with expert technical knowledge of the various software applications used in media creation and animation including Maya, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Invaluable work experience has been gained in the field of digital media including recently in a freelance capacity for Bunkermym in Dominican Republic where I successfully created an engaging commercial spot for an international client. This incorporated 2D graphics and 3D animation, with Maya used to design, model and rig a character, which proved imaginative and compelling. I also completed an internship with Sliced Bread Animation in London where I was instrumental in modelling and animating a character for the War Graves Commission website, in addition to which I modelled a character for a potential TV pilot.
To facilitate my career development, I am now looking for a challenging new position and am confident that I could become a valuable asset to your company. My key qualities are my attention to detail and instinctive flair for creativity coupled with my demonstrable technical and problem solving capabilities. I am extremely self-motivated, even under pressure, overcoming any setbacks or challenges to deliver innovative products that exceed expectations.
