Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my keen interest in the Junior Designer/ Developer role and would like to apply for the position. At your convenience, I would appreciate the chance to discuss my candidacy and the role with you.

I believe that my degree course (BSc Computing) as well as work experience, since then, has prepared me for this position.

The course focused on all different areas of computing from programming to the different areas of system development, it also greatly focused on different web technologies.

Throughout my time at university I was able to experiment and experience the different aspects of web development from back-end to front-end development using technologies such as PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, MySQL and of course HTML and CSS.

Outside of University I have had the opportunity to work on projects that have allowed me to develop my skills further, most notably my skills in front-end development where I had the opportunity to further my knowledge of HTML,CSS and JavaScript as well as getting practical experience with responsive web design.

I am a very motivated worker, and enjoy learning, I have great communication skills and most importantly I have a passion for web development.

I hope I have demonstrated that my skills,enthusiasm for learning and my interest in this role would make me a great asset to your organisation.
