About me
I can greatly inform you that the content, structure and
nature of my degree's course during my time in University has readied me
for taking up such a position.
I am enthusiastic and fanatic about film, so much so that I tend to
challenge myself in relevant (and sometime irrelevant) areas of filmmaking.
This allowed me to continually develop my skills in camera work where I
always want to achieve good compositing and framing that would allow for
aesthetically pleasing shots, and with editing having a good eye for detail
and always stress the importance for rhythm and pace when constructing a
sequence for a film (and for video a-like).
I have shot episodic video magazine shows along with motion graphics),
interviews, promotional and event videos for a basketball organization
(Reach&Teach/Midnight Madness/Community Basketball League) as well as
some independant British-African events that takes place throughout the
year and shorts for personal projects.
These of which was shot on various camera systems; Mirrorless/Micro Four
Thirds camera, the Panasonic GH2 (that I own) and have shot on more well
known DSLRs from Canon such as the 5D Mark II & III and prosumer
camcorders more recently being the Sony EX3. I have also experienced
shooting on Super 8mm film with the intentions for professional use.
All projects throughout the years were all edited on different releases or
versions of Adobe Premiere Pro. After Effects was used a handful of times for
some projects where needed.
I am so keen to work for a company that has a very encouraging approach
to its potential employees and great work ethics, something that I am very
considerate of. I would be so delighted to discuss this possible vacancy with
you.
