About me
Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Oly Innés, I'm 24 years old. I'm originally from Brighton but have been living in East London for the past 5 years. In July 2010 I graduated with a 2.1 at the London College of Fashion studying BA Hons Fashion Photography.
Since March 2011 I have been working as women's fashion image technician for web for Urban Outfitters. There I am Responsible for the flow of all women's fashion images from shoot day to web for the Urban Outfitters website.
My role includes assisting the photographer and stylist on shoot days, making sure all garments and images are executed at a very high standard, retouching all images and being extremely organized with the constant uploading of images to web. I'm constantly demanded to reach tight deadlines whilst staying calm and focused. Other job roles include testing potential models, helping the production team with creative solutions and everyday website problem solving.
Before Urban I worked as a junior booker at Union Models for one year. There I gained a lot of experience in not only booking, but shoot production, all areas of art department including internet, magazine researching, liaising with clients and other agencies as well as personal assisting, general problem solving and being meticulous at planning, scheduling and time management. Union was a great place to help create relationships with some of the most talented artists in the industry.
As well as working as retouching for Urban full time, I also retouch freelance under the title Touched By Us. a business set up with a partner. So far we have had stories in Spanish Vanidad magazine, the cover and 3 fashion editorials in Hysteria magazine and have just completed retouching pop band One Directions annual.
In September 2011 I helped launch brand new fashion and beauty magazine; Sheer in print form. The magazine was sold in 350 stores in the UK including Selfridges and Harrords. Using the contacts I made at Union, my role as contributing editor was to approach new talent to contribute to the magazine. The magazine is now in development of it's second issue.
From studying fashion photography, not only do I have great knowledge photography, but also have a keen eye for visual concepts, a very creative imagination and a keen enthusiasm for utilizing other people's skills in team work. From dealing with clients I have also become good at taking briefs and working out effective solutions whilst using excellent personal relations skills. I also have experience using image banks such as istock, shutterstock and Getty Images.
I have an excellent phone manner and have a lot of IT knowledge in both PC and Mac. I am extremely confident in Photoshop and Adobe Suite. I have also good knowledge in Premier and Final Cut video editing software. I'm also confident in Venda and WordPress website software.

Employee of the Month for Urban Outfitters Europe for September 2011. A full interview was featured on the UO community page of the UK, French and German websites., Invited by the VT Manager for Sky Television to spend one week in Romania filming a documentary for The Smiles Foundation, a charity working amongst the Gypsy communities in the poorest areas of Romania. , Directed a photographic shoot for photographer Sean Collymore that won the Elizabeth Arden competition at London College of Fashion and was featured in the September 2009 issue of British Vogue. Tasks included pre-production planning of the artistic direction of the shoot with photographer, selecting a location, setting up shoot, directing models and communicating with the hairdresser, make-up artist and stylist.
