About me

My name is Olivia Post and I currently work for a small
advertising agency called Muirhoward in London where I have been here
for the last three years. My roles have ranged from Office Manager to
Art buying and visual research, to new business development. I
currently run the new business side of the agency and liaise with
prospective clients, establishing meetings as well as managing our
relationships with them. Through this I have successfully introduced
new business to Muirhoward and have created profitable client
relationships. It is this part of my role which I enjoy the most.
I love History of Art. To pick one particular period is difficult
however I studied the History of Modern Art at University (a
contradiction in terms you might say) but we studied Art from the 19th
Century onwards. I specialised in the work of the YBA's and 20th
Century photography. I have experience in the art market and did
internships at both Sotheby's, New York and Christie's,
London in 2003 and thought it was a fantastic environment to be in.
Photography is another great passion of mine and I had my first solo
exhibition last October. This was a great event for me, a steep
learning curve but a success with a 90% sell out. I loved the challenge
of putting on the exhibit and learnt about selling my work and
interacting with potential clients. It was great to learn the required
skills for overcoming challenges and loopholes in organising the
event.
I am outgoing, professional, and have great interpersonal skills. I
am a team player but am also willing to go out on my own and represent
the company to the best of my abilities. I am a highly organised,
efficient and enthusiastic person and I feel I have a lot to bring to
this role.
