About me

Dear Sir/Madame,

My name is Olivia Efstathiou, I am a freelance interdisciplinary designer, a

graphic design post-graduate and I have a decade of professional experience

working as an Art Director while currently obtaining my MA in Digital Arts in

the University of the Arts London.

Digital design was a natural progression in my creative career. Having worked

mainly on interactive projects, I was intrigued by how communication design

relies on foundations of cognitive psychology to produce successful and

intuitive design. Thus I decided to expand this notion by focusing on my MA

research on Sensory Stimulation and Design. The knowledge I gained while

writing it gave me a whole new perspective on the finer mechanisms that drive

the interactive experience.

2 years ago I started a fashion label, , with a fellow fashion designer,

where I am in charge of designing the patterns for silkprinting as well as for

the brand's corporate ID.

I have been able to balance my part-time studies, teaching and freelancing for

the past two years, through methodology and precise time management. I am a

great team player, having worked in a plethora of demanding positions in

various art disciplines and expressions.
