About me
Food has always played a very central role in my life. Although remaining an art de vivre, it has become clear to me that I wished to do more than simply indulge it.
Raised in cosmopolitan London by a German father and a French mother, multi-cultures and its impact on the Food industry have always fascinated me. On top of that, travelling is my second big love, as it has enabled me to discover new cultures, thus new culinary experiences.
After studying five years in Paris, where I majored at La Sorbonne in History of Art and Sociology of Art for my BA and MA, and worked for numerous institutions since the age of 16, I decided to leave my beloved vin et fromage for Berlin. I improved my German, explored the Berlin Art scene and learnt how to brew beer and bake bretzels. After eight months, I went to Beijing, where I worked for over a year as an Art consultant. I then moved to Switzerland, where I helped launch an alternative Gallery. These experiences have helped me adapt to completely different cultures and mind-sets.
Moving back to London helped me realise how crucial it was for me to work in the Food industry. Since then, I've launched a Food and Travel website called Don't Believe in Jet Lag, self-published a 250 pages culinary guide on Beirut's restaurant scene and Lebanese cuisine. In order to promote my book, I've organised events and pop-ups in Beirut and London.
Following the book launch, I've decided to help other independent food and travel businesses promote themselves and founded my PR agency: Don't Believe in Jet Lag Agency.
I currently work with London-based restaurants, French hotels and luxury brands who wish to increase their visibility on the UK and/or French market.
I help them achieve this through press relations, social media and digital marketing. I have also written various food and travel related articles for different websites in both French and English.
Today I am looking for new projects in PR, social media or copywriting with like-minded people.
