About me
I have over 5 years of solid events planning and management experience in the events and marketing industry.
Through my employment, I have become an effective and valued team player as evidenced by being taken on by my 'placement' company post degree and being headhunted for my second job.
Having worked in both an agency and corporate environment, I have vast event management experience, from planning the end-to-end delivery of person events, including small lunches and afternoon teas to large fundraisers such as BBC Children In Need.
Working discreetly with VIP's and stakeholders across the Aviva and Aviva Investors group and knowing when to advise them professionally when organising events.
Having an event agency background I have worked with a number of suppliers including production companies, caterers and designers. I also understand the importance of maintaining a friendly and professional relationship with them. Negotiating was a key part of the job and working hard to ensure our clients received the best possible rates was important. Having worked with a number of clients, I have come across a number of different personalities and can adapt professionally when needed.
During my time with my current employer, I have enjoyed working for an organisation which demands the highest standards and who values me as someone who can meet deadlines and get the job done. I am confident that I can bring my knowledge and these qualities to the role.
