About me

Oliver started his first business with his two co-founders whilst at LSE University in 2006, after seeing an opportunity to use social media as a way to barter with high profile artists and DJs to play at his student events across the UK. This quickly evolved into one of the first social media agencies to represent talent and brands across the emerging social platforms.

Shortly after, WME and Sean Parker approached Oliver and his co-founders to scale this globally and across the entire entertainment industry and in 2011 theAudience was born. After establishing offices in London, LA and NYC - he successfully led theAudience to become the largest social publishing network in the world with over 2bn social connections. He worked with over 400 global celebrities across social channels - ranging from artists such as Usher, Hugh Jackman and even Barack Obama.

In 2015, Oliver sold this business to VICE, bringing his team, clients and expertise to help scale the VICE proposition globally. Oliver joined as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Clients, leading the key clients across the business, delivering growth of over 100% year on year and generating over $50M in revenue.

In 2018, Oliver went back to his entrepreneurial roots to be a co-founder of the VICE operation in the Middle East and Africa, headquartered in Dubai. Over the past two years, he launched the three core verticals of VICE in the region (Digital, Virtue, News), built a team of 50+ full time staff and developed a freelance network of over 200 experts. He has generated annual revenues of over $20M whilst also pioneering a profitable model across all business units, a first within the VICE Media Group. In the summer of 2020, Oliver was asked to develop the same growth model across the Asia region, and became the Senior Vice President, Head of Commercial for Asia, Middle East and Africa.
