About me

Hi there! My name is Oliver Gardner and I am a Logistics Administrator & Content Manager working on the side as a Video Producer / Content Creator for my own YouTube Channel!

When I'm not working in my full time position, I manage my own YouTube channel known as Data Vein Gaming!

Data Vein Gaming is a channel I created in early 2019. My goal was to have an outlet I could be creative, work & talk about one of my passion, video games. Whilst steadily advancing my skills in video production and presenting, as I know I want to work in this field in the future!

Since the channel started I have been ecstatic to see my content shared by some big names in the industry as early as when my channel had just 3 videos, such as UNILAD & GamingBible. I'm always pushing to continue growing from this and, as I write and produce more content, have been able to advance my skills and knowledge in presenting, video editing, filming and acting.

I have one main line of videos currently with many plans to expand in 2020, these videos are a complitations of humerous moments in video games. With these moments, I put together a comedic video with running jokes from previous instalments, as well as individual skits pertinent to the games featured in each video.

My next big projects will be list features about habbits or shared themes across multiple video games i.e 7 Games Where The Plot Made Us Cry. These will feature skits of me in real life, interspersed in a video featuring copyright free music (I use Epidemic Sound), self captured footage of the games and pictures I source copyright free from various sources and edit myself using GIMP 2.0

While working on compilation videos or my new list feature videos, I also work on larger 'Experience' video on the side, where I run through a game and keep a healthy balance of my signiture humor, whilst letting the game shine as it was designed to. By that I mean if I was doing an 'Experience' video of a TellTale game, the video would have a mixture of humor, as well as letting the games large set pieces and hard hitting emotion narrative flourish.

I strongly believe that if you enjoy creating your productions, and have a passion for what you do then your audience will enjoy watching it just as much as you did creating it! Minus the headaches and frustration of video editing! I always aim to improve my productions little by little with each new video and enegage with the viewer to show my audience how much I appreciate their support.
