About me
To whom it may concern
Please consider me for the role of Artworker.
I have attached my CV for your consideration.
In my recent position as Digital Production Executive at Old Mutual Wealth, I have been responsible for the re-branding of three public websites and have been a key part in re-branding the company literature. With over 2500 documents which needed to be re-branded I have been a key part of marking up the changes - many of which involving amendment of legal entities and product names in compliance with the new company guidelines. I was also involved in artworking a large part of these documents for print and digital applications to match the visual identity.
As digital lead, it was also my responsibility to scope and impact assess the scale of the task in hand as well as organising and managing the team, as it implemented branding changes across three websites. I was also responsible for training and guiding my team through the use of two different CMS systems.
In addition to this I was selected for this project according to my experience with Creative Suite - in particular InDesign and Photoshop - to create new marketing imagery which was in compliance with the new corporate branding guidelines.
Since the rename/re-brand project ended in January, my contract was extended to support various business updates through provided new graphics and imagery and artworking new corporate literature.
Aside from my current role, my background is mainly in education where I was a technician/instructor and subsequently a lecturer in graphic design, creative media and photography at Andover College. In this role I brought a wealth of knowledge of Creative Suite and was able to update the provision of computer arts by both training staff and teaching students the use of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign in their projects.
Due to my experience, I feel that I am able to provide the level of ability required to undertake this position effectively and successfully.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Many thanks,
Oliver Day
