ABOUT

Music Promoter Kilimanjaro Live were looking for a platform to promote new and emerging artists in a unique and inspiring way. With a company heritage firmly grounded in the rock and metal genres, they wanted to highlight their success and passion for developing new and emerging talent. Often referred to as “Kili” within the industry, the name seemed the perfect fit to represent the new music category.

The challenge was to create a brand that appealed to 20-something gig-goers, and in turn young artists & managers, combining experience and fresh new thinking amongst their competitors.

The brand identity was created to represent any kind of artist from any background or genre allowing for total diversity. Colour was used to give each artist a unique point of difference, and when viewed as a collective the power of the brand becomes whole. The logo design uses typographical elements to visualise speakers and a sound wave, giving new artists the voice and platform they need in London’s fiercely competitive live music sector.
