Dear whomever it may concern,

I am writing this letter in the hope that you consider me for the Project Manager position advertised on the Creative Pool website. Hopefully, not only will it allow you an insight into my skills, but, more importantly, it will allow you a front seat, IMAX-esque, cinema view into my personality.

I am truly passionate about contemporary culture, creativity and design. Owing to the fact that I have experience in project management, and, having completed a Masters in Design Management, Innovation and Brand Management, I believe I have the right combination of skills, ambition and aptitude to fulfill the role you have open.

Throughout my career I have demonstrated proficiency in all core PM functions, including scheduling, document preparation, budgeting, handling timelines and costs, internal/external communications, data and records management, and task prioritization. Having being trained in IT engineering, I possess excellent IT skills. I am able to juggle multiple tasks effectively, and remain calm under significant pressure. Through successfully managing both internal and external relationships, I have accelerated the achievement of goals and positioned myself as a valuable resource in a variety of situations.

I have a warm, amiable character and have references which support the fact that I fit well into working environments. I am extremely self motivated and enjoy using my initiative when working alone as well as having the interpersonal skills to act as an integral part of a team. I like to hear opinions- to catch them, build on them, challenge them and bounce them back - to play boomerang. Ideas tend to bubble- every spring has a source. I read. I research. I keep abreast of modern trends. And, most importantly, I am always enthusiastic about the challenges that lie ahead.
