About me

Having done my post graduate diploma in Apparel Merchandising from Sasmira Institute (University of Mumbai, India), I have worked as a Technical Marketing Executive (Knitted Fabrics) for 3 years at Tirupur (the Textile capital of India) working alongside strategic suppliers of processed knitted fabrics prior to completing my Masters at Nottingham Trent University. Going forward I want to leverage my Marketing and Merchandising skills and work in the Textile sector with a core focus on Business Development. I'm looking to speak/meet with professionals who successfully made the move into the sector, to gain insight into their experience of making this switch and understand from their perspective the skills and competencies employers are looking from post.
