About me

Having worked as a freelance creative for the past five years, while living as a digital nomad, I've had the pleasure of working with clients from all over the world. Some of the work I've done include:

- crafting copy for websites and brochures

- brand conceptualization

- product descriptions

- social media campaigns

- Keynote presentations (incl. animation)

- content creation/blogging

- writing articles for online magazines

- directing/producing theatre shows and videos

If you want to know a bit more about me, I was trained as an Actor & Director (KADA) and Producer (UCLA), so I was trained in the art of storytelling and entertainment marketing. I also did various life coaching courses that gave me diplomas saying I can transform people's lives. In other words: I was trained to help people fix their lives using a sufficient amount of drama to turn it into a Hollywood blockbuster with a guaranteed happy ending and a franchise opportunity.

Fresh out of college I worked as a Sales Manager for Eyestorm, the UK's largest online contemporary art gallery. Leaving Eyestorm I decided to fuse my passion for business with my love of storytelling and for the past five years I have worked as a freelance creative, whilst also setting up my own business ventures and doing charity work in Cape Town, South Africa.

In the Cape Town township where I ended up volunteering my time to teach kids and youth, I've dealt with everything from murderers and thieves to raising children in need, but what you probably want to know about me is that as an entrepreneur I raised seed investment and then designed and developed products in collaboration with businesses such as Truth Coffee, CocoáFair and Naturals Beauty. As a freelance creative I've worked with brands and agencies such as Agence Marianne, Sightline, Red Granite Pictures, Cupid PLC and the Together Networks. I also blogged for Miappi (digital marketing) and the Huffington Post (when time allowed), wrote fiction for FicFun and crafted articles for YouQueen and HerInterest.
