About me

Hello!

I'm Ogi, a Motion Graphic Designer and Animator with a demonstrable history of working with a range of clients from corporate to indy clients.

I specialise in 2d animation and motion graphic design.

I have developed a broad skill set encompassing digital and traditional forms of animation and art.

I'm fully proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and use After Effects extensively in my workflow.

My degree in Graphic Art and Design me to built on traditional and sequential art practice gives me strong understanding and deep appreciation of core design disciplines.

These skills come in handy working with established brands and in development of new concepts. It enables contribution to partnerships and team dynamics as I'm able to add to the team effort beyond the scope of animation.

It also predicates a critical understanding of goals and direction for every project, striving to bring disproportional value to each client.

Animation and Motion Graphics are my ikaigai. It is an essential part of my identity.

I am passionate about creative theory and regularly blog my thoughts on this.

This is reflected in my practice as I continuously train in exploring rapid conceptual idea. As a firm believer in Kaizen I continuously schedule learning time in order to improve my existing skill set and bring more to each new project I undertake. This incorporates personal projects honing developed skills as well as learning brand new ones. I'm currently playing with cinema 4D and Maya. It also goes beyond technical ability (though this is crucial for idea execution) as living a creative life generates constant feedback into creative thinking which is vital.

After a strong period of freelancing projects for corporate and creative clients I'm looking for a position within an organisation where I can make my mark and further grow as a creative. Working in closer contact with people and creative team environment is a key aspect I'm looking for as well as re-relocating back to London.
