Dear Sir / Madam:

I am writing in response to your advertisement in creativepool.co.uk . I would like to be considered for the position of graphic designer. I hope you find that my professional experience working at a graphic design studio, along with my knowledge of diverse graphic software, qualify me for this position.

I am proficient in a wide range of tools and through countless hours of study and work-based training for over 10 years, I have learned how to work in all different areas of design, from all sorts of printed media and web design, to 3d visualizations and animations. Still, I am eager to study new software, as well as keep up with the evolution of the ones I work with now.

During the six years that I was employed as lead designer of a busy department at CREANIMA I not only undertook the responsibilities of directing the team and dealing with clients on a day to day basis (sometimes with the patience of a Saint, as I´m sure you know is a necessary skill in this line of work!). Also, I was very much a part of the action in order to ensure completion of each task to time and to the highest possible standard. Due to the recession being particularly hard-hitting in Spain the company had to close down as part of a chain reaction once the factories began to go bankrupt, yet many of the clients found and contact me personally to see if I was available which I saw as a big compliment. Nowadays, after a short career break and relocation to the UK, I am feeling re-charged and ready to undertake a new and challenging post such as the job being offered by yourselves.
