About me

Enthusiastic graphic design graduate. Eager to continue creating
unique and successful designs. Experience within a graphic design
company where I was a junior artworker. Adequate knowledge of design
applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Flash as well
as MACs. Looking to pursue my career within the graphic design
industry. Friendly and easy to communicate with as well as being
dedicated and committed to producing sound designs and completing
briefs to a high standard and on time.

Skills

I am proficient in using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, with basic knowledge of Quark, Dreamweaver and Flash which I am currently developing by teaching myself HTML and CSS., I am capable of producing print based work such as leaflets, invites, books, catalogues, flyers and branding, as well as web based work such as flash banners, web icons, and web page layouts. i have also tried my hand at flash interaction work, video editing and creating animations through Photoshop., During my experience I have gained and developed specific design skills such as artworking, photo enhancements, photo manipulations, layouts, typography, printing, good eye for detail and meeting deadlines to a high quality, as well as general skills such as organization, punctuality, communication and efficiency.

Sector Experience

Marketing Sector: Mapping Coordinator - Organizing my own work load, liaising with clients to get the best results, collating the correct information to send to clients, checking the work over to make sure it is ready for use, collaborating with colleagues on projects and creating client relationships., Freelance Graphic Design: Creating artworker and finished printed work for clients on different projects. A beauty price list, wedding invites, album cover, fashion images and look book, and a logo re-design and flash banner. All projects included creating artwork from scratch, photo retouches, laying out text and manipulating some text, getting work printed, layering images and liaising with clients.
