About me
Ninette van Kamp is an interdisciplinary and interactive textile designer from the Netherlands. Ninette graduated from Napier University with a BDes Design Futures in 2005 where she began exploring the interaction between objects (products) and their users specifically within the home environment.
She has recently graduated from Central St. Martins with a Masters Degree in Design for Textile Futures where her interest in interaction was carried over to the body and the relationship between textiles and our skin. During this time Ninette developed a bespoke and seductive lingerie collection (Souffrez Pour Moi) for those with a taste for masochistic elegance. Using luxury fabrics, skins and materials, these special jewel-encrusted undergarments create intimate and temporary tattoos in secret places on the body.
Due to the variety of Ninette's skills and work, she wishes to work in an interactive and cross-disciplinary environment where she would be given the opportunity to use her experiences in a more professional context.
