About me

To whom it may concern,

Everything in your job description sounds like me.People describe me as bubbly, persistent, organised, friendly, a problem solver, trustworthy and somebody to go to in order to get something finished.

If you do not have enough time to look at another paper cv, perhaps you have the chance to look at a quirky personality showreel: ,

I have my own YouTube channel: with over 3K subscribers. Here I uploaded gameplay videos, editing all the videos myself. (since studying and starting work I have not had enough time to continue this hobby)

I have worked in all areas of production, from editor to director. I have interned for Working Title Pictures, Saatchi & Saatchi and have done work for the UNHCR, the Romanian government, Mike Figgis and Will Self. My most recent work for crane has clients such as the Huffington Post, the Guardian and the New York Times. At the moment I am film festival co-ordinator for the European Student Film Festival in Annecy and Geneva this March. Here I am responsible for the following tasks:

-finding workshop leaders

-finding equipment for workshop leaders for their practical workshops

-confirming number of schools, students, teachers and chaperones

-confirming registration fees of schools and students

-organising transportation for schools, workshop leaders and teachers to and from the festival

-finding judges to rate the films the submitted films online

-creating a rating system for the judges to rate the submitted films

-updating online shared databases

-updating the facebook page

-Solving the problems faced by judges, workshop leaders, teachers, students

-liaising with le centre d'Annecy in order to organise accommodation, catering and workshop rooms.

-finding sponsors

I have produced every film I have directed (which are over a dozen) which has given me considerable organisational skills. As director and 1st AD, I have needed to create important relationships with clients, crew and cast. I know how to keep the energy up, solve problems and know how to talk to people of all walks of life. These have given me expertise in:

-deadlines

-multi-tasking

-sending e-mails to clients

- keeping track of receipts

-scheduling/ call sheets

-quick problem solving

-keeping moral up

-fundraising

-networking

Since graduating from the MET film school and Bournemouth university in my MA in filmmaking, I have not only taken the role as festival co-ordinator but also directed a music video for jazz musician Chris Read, started producing a short for David Abramsky as well as developing a script for a short which I'd like to develop for my first feature film. I love working with people, organising and thrive in a competitive environment. With my friendly attitude, ability to speak four languages and professional manner I believe I could make a valuable member of the team.
