About me

Hi

Here is a brief history of my job rolls and experience to date:

*I attended Istanbul University Communication Faculty in Istanbul, Turkey, where I studied journalism. Whilst at university I worked as a photographer and reporter for the magazines “Woman, Light, Gardening”. I also worked for the magazine

“Outdoor” which belongs to nationwide newspaper “Sabah”, (which is one of Turkeys biggest selling daily newspapers). Further to this I worked as a still photographer in a feature film called “Avci” (The Hunter) which was directed
by Erden Kral. (A Turkish film director renowned more in Turkey and Germany).

*After I graduated from Istanbul University in Turkey I moved to London to study English at Waltham Forest College and gained a Certificate in English Communicative Skills.
*Then in 2001 I returned back to Ankara, Turkey and joined the family business. I created a printing and graphic design business department within the company. My main duties were providing a graphic design service, digital printing, using large format colour printers, and promoting and gaining sales for the company. Whilst working I took advanced courses on graphic design and photography.
*Since being back in the UK I have worked as a freelance photographic assistant for Brian Spranklen ( Former Owner Venture Portraits / Stockport and his new company is Luv Photography ) and have also worked as a freelance

graphic designer.

*To update and freshen my graphic design skills I have recently completed a Graphic Design course at Shillington College, Manchester. The college teaches how to create solutions to briefs whilst sticking to tight deadlines as it would be

in the work place.

I am very enthusiastic and committed to graphic design and photography

and thrive on working within a team environment whilst happy to work on

my own initiative.
