About me

I am currently the Studio Manager for Health, managing Pharma clients for VCCP in Victoria.

The role, which I've held since May 2012 has grown from a "one-man band" with two clients, to managing

a core team of four artworkers and a design pool of nine, working across a roster of twelve brands.

Requirements of the position are varied, including: seeing projects through from creative brief to artwork

delivery; working with project managers to produce realistic estimates; month-end billing; managing

timings and expectations; casting an eye over all materials leaving the studio; staff reviews and mentoring;

traffic and studio resource; and I'm also hands-on when necessary.

VCCP Health's vision is to bring higher creative standards to healthcare brand communications, which was

borne out by being the most highly nominated agency 2015's PM Society Awards. The breadth of work

covered on many campaigns is vast, encompassing: Branding; Press; Digital; many forms of DM; Exhibition

& Conference design; Guidelines; and Brand books. Projects giving me great variety and exposure to the

design and layout of digital mediums, as well as traditional print work.

My career so far has been very diverse, taking me from design, visualisation and artwork disciplines within

a great range of advertising and marketing agencies, both above and below the line, working on numerous

accounts covering Aerospace, Financial Services, Security, Recruitment, Automotive, FMCG, Technology

and currently Pharma.

These experiences have given me the right tools to understand and implement artwork and design

projects with realistic timeframes, attention to detail, and a high level of quality control, on not only

simple jobs, but complex tasks as well.
