About me

Gifford Dance Academy is a family. My daughters Rebecca and Lucie Gifford are dancers, performers, acrobatic gymnasts (to national level), dance teachers and choreographers.

We are unique in that our dance classes specialise in Acro dance as well as contemporary, street, disco, commercial, lyrical, hip-hop and slow.

The fact that Rebecca and Lucie are sisters (that are often mistaken for twins) gives their work an edge as they bring to life routines involving the very best of both dance and gymnastics together. Rebecca and Lucie duet and can make themselves available for the right professional project or performance. They work on strength and flexibility and Lucie often lifts her sister in routines. They're choreography is new and challenging and has already won Gifford Dance the title of National Champions.

Rebecca has a first class honours degree in Dance and Professional Practice as well as a diploma in Community Dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire. Lucie is about to complete her degree and is following the same path.

Gifford Dance is much more than a dance school. It is a dance community and if you need anything from creative choreography for a show you are organising, to dancers for an advertisement or music video, we can assist, in addition to the weekly teaching and private lessons.
