Dear Sir/Madam,
Please find enclosed my CV in application for the post advertised on Creativepool on 7th October.
The nature of my career in broadcasting, technology and graphics has prepared me for this position. It involved a great deal of independent research, requiring initiative, self-motivation and a wide range of skills. I have a proven ability for resourcefulness and in many occasions had to learn from scratch, including building graphics for a touchscreen, coding & working in a fast paced, ever changing digital media environment.
Last year I was assigned as a technical lead on the Touchscreens for the Sky Sports News HQ launch to ensure all Viz scenes were re-branded correctly which involved working alongside a number of departments & advising team members. Also, I have been involved in the 'Women in technology' scheme with Sky which aims to encourage more females to apply for apprenticeships within technology.
