About me
I recently completed seven months working with Silverfish Productions as the Production Assistant giving administrative and creative support to this small but successful communications company. I was involved in all areas of of the production process from pitch to broadcast including scripting and scheduling. Prior to this I studied Journalism at University but gained experience at the BBC, Sky News and with Channel 4 covering OB, studio and short-film production. I was editor of Impulse magazine which was shortlisted for the Press Gazette Awards and Deputy Editor/News Editor for student newspaper, Veritas which received a commendation at the 2005 Herald Awards. In other work I was an Assessment Officer in the Scottish Legal Aid Board for two years before commencing my studies. Whilst at University I worked in the debt department of a call-centre for two years where I learnt much about diplomacy and as a barista for the remaining two years where I learnt to make a mean caramel macchiato.
