About me

Hello!

I am an electronic music producer based out of Bangalore.

Here is a little bit about me-

I began tinkering with audio programs on his computer during my mid-late teens, which led me to pursue a career in music production in my early 20s.

After enrolling into an Audio Engineering Diploma program in an institute in Mumbai, and a few job placements following the course, I realised that I wanted to stick to my bedroom studio, where I would begin my self exploratory journey into cultivating the art of listening, producing and exploring sound.

Although not formally trained in music, the persistence to master audio software and the tools to produce music, led me to turn to using the internet as a vast educational resource.

Through my experience over the years, I have come to nurture a keen interest in creating and performing experimental and alternative forms of music.

At the age of 29, I still continue to produce independent works in electronic music and I often collaborate with drummer Shreyas Dipali in our live act- Nikhil Narendra & Shreyas Dipali.

In recent years, we have played in venues across the country like The Humming Tree (Bangalore), Antisocial (Mumbai), Depot 48 (Delhi) and also music festivals like Indie March and Magnetic Fields to name a few.

I also create music and sound design for commercial entities, advertisements and corporate films.

My music is characterised by elements of quirkiness, deep moody passages, dense atmospheres and is inspired by many genres spanning club music to jazz and bossanova and more experimental forms of electronic music.
