Highly experienced art director with more than 20 years' experience in pre-press, design, layout and graphic illustration for mainstream consumer magazine titles, national newspapers and web sites.
High degree of expertise in Adobe Creative Suite applications - especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop - including digital retouching techniques, colour correction and image manipulation.
Accustomed to working in a high-pressure environment with very tight deadlines.
Fastidious attention to detail.
Self motivated and work equally well as part of a team or as group leader.
As well as being able to delegate, I am comfortable being part of a team and always follow briefs to the letter. As well as the obvious design packages - I excel at InDesign and Photoshop - I have a good working knowledge of the Woodwing Content Management System, Adobe Premier, FotoStation and Content Station.
