Following your recent advertisement for the Creative Artworker position, I would very much like to be considered for the post and attach my CV plus links to my online portfolio, for your consideration.

Since graduating from The University of Portsmouth with a BA (Hons) in Illustration in 2011, I have undertaken many freelance illustration commissions, gaining more experience and confidence with each project. These commissions have been extremely varied and include mural work, website design, app design, tattoo design, branding, logo design and portraiture. Within the last year I've completed a computer graphics course at U.A.L Central St. Martins specialising in Mac skills, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator and I am now looking forward to combining my natural and proven ability as a designer, artist and illustrator with my now up to date technical digital skills required for the current market and industry.

In my current role as an Office & Design Assistant at Careprint, I have learnt a multitude of new skills related to the print and design industry. I have gained experience in typesetting, formatting and word processing combined with proof reading, photo manipulation and printing techniques; including print dimensions, printing bleeds and print templates. As well as using the Adobe Suite I've also developed design techniques using Corel PhotoPaint and CorelDraw.

My confidence and ability is growing consistently and I am hopeful of a position where my skills can be utilised and developed further.
