About me

I am an experienced senior designer with over 25 years in the industry. I am fully conversant with Illustrator, photoshop, In design Quark and some knowledge of flash. I have worked on many large accounts including Vodafone, O2, Mizuno, WWF and Toyota and have produced materials ranging from logo's through corporate level brochures and packaging to new media. I also, until recently when the account was moved to their head office in Belgium art directed a large percentage of the photography for Toyota. I believe I have an in depth knowledge of the industry that is second to none and have a creative ability to match. At the moment I am working for a successful agency in North Hampshire but do feel the need to take on more of a challenge as I am starting to find it too easy and don't feel I'm being stretched. I hold a managerial position in which I am in charge of 4 designers, I manage their projects as well as working on my own. Unlike most modern day designers I have the ability to illustrate in any given style, be it traditionally or on Mac. As well as being proficient on the Mac I also have the ability to work on a PC. A large part of my current job is client facing and I attend meetings on behalf of the agency to get the creative ball rolling. It is important to me that those around me have the same lust for their work BUT I do enjoy having fun with what I do. My hobbies are varried but my true passion are motorcycles, rugby(Harlequins season ticket holder) and fitness.
