Personal Statement

I am really interested in poster and editorial design, I chose to do an FdA Design Course, in order to learn more about the design industry.The course has helped me develop my skills in using Indesign, illustrator and Photoshop, as well as improving my ability on work with type and image. On my work placement at Hotdog magazine I also learnt how to use Quark xpress.

At home, I like to spend my time socialising, listening to music, playing football. I also like to watch a lot of sport such as F1, Football and Tennis.

I can use Quark xpress, Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CS to an intermediate Level to create print ready graphic design and page layouts.

Work Expierence

Four Weeks placement at Hotdog Magazine. This involved photo retouching in photoshop and laying out images into the magazines template. I ended up designing a feature for the magazine.

(I went back to do some Freelance work for nine days)

One Week Placement at Autosport Magazine where I designed a number of templates for the following month's issue and a competition page.
