About me
Nicola is a multi award-winning writer, CD and ECD among the highest ranked in the world. In March 2024 she was ranked in both WARC and DRUM worldwide rankings and helped to rank Ogilvy UK as the top 5 creative agency in the world. She has worked with her creative partner and best friend Andy Forrest for 20 years.
Among her many recent wins is the notable Campaign Agency of the Year "Creative Team of the Year" award as well as the coveted D&AD White Pencil and Cannes Glass Lion awards.
Nicola has featured in the worldwide rankings for three consecutive years. In 2023 Top 5 D&AD Copywriters worldwide and the Top 20 Creative Directors Worldwide. She was the no. 2 UK Creative Directors at the 2022 One Show Awards as well as a 2022 Female Frontier Honouree and shortlist for the Conquering Creativity Award. She was also awarded Creative Equals Future Leaders Award 2021.
She has a track record for cracking tough briefs and winning pitches for both local and global clients, and has working on some of Britain's best loved brands. She is currently leading work globally across Jameson Whiskey, and locally across Molson Coors, St James Place and Mayor of London.
She has a reputation for her love of craft and human insight. Bringing fun and truth to the creative department, as well as every brief, client relationship and team she works with. Nurturing both talent and ideas makes her heart sing, she has always been hugely passionate about helping emerging talent come into the industry. But most importantly, she is a Mum to her beloved cheeky son Ollie.
Nicola has a side hustle as a Reiki practitioner and is writing her first screenplay.
