About me

Over my career I've been lucky enough to be awarded by Cannes, D&AD, New York Festivals, Clio's and at several South African local award shows. I earned further recognition in 2017, when I was awarded one of only 12 seats on the Phyllis Project, a global creative initiative launched by DDB to increase the number of female creative leaders in the network.

I'm an advocate for diversity, through diversity we get different points of view, which lead to greater ideas. I'm exceptionally proud of a campaign I did for the "Commission for Gender Equality" which won Silver at Cannes, Ad of the Year, as well as Gold at the Loeries Awards last year. (It was the 2nd year in a row I was fortunate to walk away with gold in print.)

Despite the awards, the work I'm most proud of is for Telkom, in 2014 we pitched on the account and won. The work was a huge departure from anything they had ever done before, it turned the brand from one of South Africa's most hated brands into one of the most loved. The campaign ran for 3 years, and was repeatedly rank in SA's most loved commercials.

In my 17 years of advertising, I've worked at some of South Africa's top creative agencies which has given me the opportunity to work on global brands such as McDonald's, Honda, Smart Car, KFC, Converse, and Skittles. In 2008 I gained international experience when I moved to TBWA/Cawley Nea in Dublin for a year. I enjoyed Dublin so much, I moved back in 2019 and I'm now looking for career opperunities.
