About me

I have many years of experience of working in publishing working as a designer/artworker. My role title is Publications Manager.

The company I work for now also has a B2 5 colour printing presses and I am very familiar with the needs of reprographics and have a complete understanding of the printing industry.

I look after the Southampton Football Club account and the job includes liaising with the different departments at the football club and advising them of all their design and print requirements. This can include working on large format jobs, advertising and brochures as well as designing logos etc.

As a part of my work for Southampton Football Club I manage the Matchday Programme and design and artwork the programme for every home matchday. This also involves managing other artworkers and advising them of layout and proof reading the programme. This role also involves contacting feature writers and organising deadlines. A 68 page programme can be turned around in just 4 days if deadlines require.

I help out with the rest of the design department when the football season is over in the summer months or if there are any quite moments during the season. So have worked on a vary varied amount of design / artworking jobs.
