About me

I am currently employed by Big Marketing in Milton Keynes, although I take my position here very seriously, I am always eager to further my career in this important communications industry.

I have worked for a wide range of companies, including: Local Newspapers, Advertising Agencies, Specialist Companies, Design Consultants, Pre-Press and Typesetters.

The work I have produced has included: advertisements, catalogues, brochures, leaflets, point of sale material, and much, much more.

I have a wide skills base that I believe would be beneficial to a future employer. This skills base includes: working quickly and accurately to (usually) extremely tight deadlines. I can turn work around in minimal time with minimal problems. In addition to my design skills I have a good typing speed, I have proof-reading skills and I have strong layout skills which I believe are extremely useful assets.

I am fully conversant with all the usual programmes in this industry, including Quark 6, Photoshop CS, Illustrator CS, ISDN, AdFast, MS word, Excel, Acrobat Reader, Distiller and Corel Draw.

I believe my main strength in the work place is a "hands on" approach to getting the job in hand done to a good standard. At the same time I recognise the need to meet the needs of the client and those of the team members with whom I work.
