About me

In advertising years, I am 30. In human years, I am a little older. For the past 24 years, I have led creative departments in international agencies across Asia.

Going back: I graduated with a B.A. Honours in Audio Visual Design from Staffordshire Universit. Having studied to become a Graphic Designer, the course introduced me to other communications disciplines and I got my degree in Scriptwriting. Thanks to some plays I wrote, which were produced and broadcast by BBC Radio, I joined McCann Erickson in London.

Since moving to Asia in 1993, I have worked across all media including direct, traditional and digital - with agencies such as McCann's, JWT, Euro RSCG, Grey, SapientNitro, FCB and DDB & Tribal, as well as running my own company, PreciousThinking, an ideas company spanning all advertising disciplines. Having run my own company I have an unique perspective of the business. It not only gives me an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to easily adapt to changing situations, but also a deeper understanding of agency operations and why clients do the things they do. Today, I am Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer of MuellerGordon, a tightly curated creative consortium of best-in-class creative companies to bring new, business-building creativity to companies throughout Vietnam and beyond.


During its 11 years, PreciousThinking weathered economic downturns, won regional pitches against international agencies, most notably for Prudential and TNT and picked up some prestigious awards.

I wrote the regional tagline for Prudential Corporation Asia - "Always Listening. Always Understanding." - which was the company's brand credo for more than 23 years.

In my first year at DDB & Tribal Vietnam (), I took the agency to #3 in Campaign's 'Vietnam Creative Agency of the Year' and #1 in R3 Worldwide's 'Vietnam 2019 New Business League'. In my second year, DDB & Tribal Vietnam was #2 in Campaign's 'Vietnam Creative Agency of the Year'.

In 2020, DDB & Tribal Vietnam was ranked 4th Hottest Creative agency in Vietnam and I was named 12th Hottest Creative by Campaign Brief Asia.


I have won more than 130 awards at local and international shows, including Cannes Lions, One Show, Clios, London Internationals, New York Festivals, Communication Arts, Spikes Asia, Australian AWARD, Caples, Campaign Brief, Cresta and the Effies. And I have judged at local and international award shows.
