About me

I have developed a great deal of digital and studio photography experience working with both tungsten and flash lighting through my 3 year photography, video and digital imaging course, from which I have graduated with a 2.1

I have had work experience taking photos for Oxfam's online catalogue, taking portraits in the studio for 'Opus Dining Club' and photographed their launch event. I also have a lot of experience in using flash photography in taking photos for various events hosted in different clubs and venues, which can often involve very high pressure and difficult working environments.

I have extensive experience in working with PhotoShop through 2 years of graphic design at Sixth-form and 3 years at University. I have not used Capture One although I do have considerable experience in working with Adobe Lightroom, which is a very similar program. I am also very used to file sharing through networks.

Through my work as a lifeguard I have proven that I can take on roles of high pressure and responsibility especially when I have had to rescue children from the pool. I also have a lot of experience working to tight deadlines through my 3 years at University, my work experience for 'Oxfam' and photographing for different events and clubs who always set a tight deadline.

I am a sociable person with an outgoing personality who is not afraid to take the initiative. I am interested in fashion and have done various fashion shoots for different fashion/journalism students at the University. I work well within a team as I value the ideas of others just as much as my own.

To work within NET-A-PORTER's photographic team, to me is a fantastic opportunity and one I feel would benefit me greatly in not only developing my skills as a photographer but my career as well.
