About me

I'm currently working as a senior production controller for Penguin/Dorling Kindersley which involves managing the workflow and scheduling of multiple high profile projects in terms of product development, scheduling design and editorial staff, and print and delivery worldwide. I work on the DK children's licensing list which means we also have to work around input of materials, images etc and approvals of a third party licensor on all projects - principle licences on my list include Disney, Lego, DC, Marvel, Eon (James Bond) and Microsoft for the Halo franchise. This means our schedules are always very tight and pressured as we often need to match completion of projects to film release dates etc. A large part of my role is scheduling the design and editorial team, and I'm also responsible for constant costing, negotiating services and reporting. I'm keen to expand on this experience and am looking for studio / production / traffic manager or coordinator roles.
