About me
I'm a Senior Motion Designer of 24 years experience and I'm currently working for PH Creative as Head of Motion. I Joined PH 18 months ago after 12 years at the BBC, working in News, Current Affairs and Drama in London.
I started my career at Sky Movies in 1998, moving on to the Sky Sports team before going freelance in 2006. My freelance clients included Red Bee Media, BBC One, BskyB, Artsworld, British Eurosport, Fox, Skaramoosh, Nike, Apple, Gillette, Channel 4 and Red Bull Media House.
In my current position at PH I design, produce and edit 2D and 3D films for online and all social channels for clients including NatWest, Activision and Astra Zenica. I also oversee the motion and editing team.
My design role at the BBC involved working across a broad range of projects- including on the day graphics, long form 2D and 3D films for online and social media platforms and programme title sequences. I was often lead designer in charge of the design team for the 10 O'clock News and Newsnight.
I am proficient in After Effects, Photoshop, illustrator, Cinema 4D and Premier Pro and have experience of directing both live action, motion capture and motion control shoots as well as team leading and mentoring.
