About me

I have recently relocated to the North East and with this relocation and my background in design, reprographics and digital artwork, comes the prospect of new employment within a company where I can share and apply my industry gained experience; utilise my skills and ideas and continue to learn in the best (and friendly) quality assured environments.

My current artwork role is predominantly within the food packaging sector where I am more than conversant with the FMCG market. Having used the Macintosh environment for the last sixteen years, I have vast experience of Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and the OSX (and classic) environment. I also have experience of Indesign, Quark, Freehand, Flash and Dreamweaver, together with PDF workflow and data management workflow, production, print techniques/constraints and processes.

I am used to applying company quality control checks on all aspects of workflow management and artwork on a daily basis and liaising with our company quality executives to ensure that deadlines are always met. Due to the work nature of our blue chip clients, I am also familiar with the need for client confidentiality and sensitivity.

I am also currently responsible for the workload scheduling, time management and motivation of my studio team.
