About me
I have just completed my 3 year course in ba [hons] Motion Graphics and have 2 years experience working both in house and freelance for clients such as Arsenal FC and LG electronics creating motion graphics.
I was team leader for the LG brief and led a team of 7 through design and development to pitch a feel good product at LG Design Europe, Covent Garden, London. My motion work for this project along with my enthusiasm won me the prize of 'best in show' for most innovative use of technology.
During my studies I also entered a competition with FACTORY311 to animate a full graphics package for Arsenal FC's new TV show Arsenal 360, which I won and then went on to continue working for the client and agency that presented the competition.
I am a great leader and follower, working as part of a team for me is just as exciting as leading a team although I naturally am drawn more towards leadership roles.
Sharing ideas and techniques is a crucial part of the creative process and I believe you can learn something from everyone.
Electronic music, playing the saxophone, boxing and synthesizers are my passions in life outside of motion graphics. I love to keep up to date with the latest tech and plugins for all things moving image. Photography is another great interest of mine, for both still and moving image.
Drawing and painting have also played a large role in my life, I'm heavily into the street art scene and have painted along side the likes of Mr Jago, Cheba, Lokey and Inkie.
People find it easy to get on with me and be around me. I have a keen eye for detail, a strong and dedicated work ethic and a desire to create, progress and improve myself as an individual. I put a lot of time and effort into helping other people, wether it is sharing knowledge I have found out on the latest Cinema4D technique with a friend who needs help for a project, or volunteering for youth projects in school.
I have the ability to take a brief and run with it, then return with a solid concept delivered to the highest possible standard. Very rarely do I fail, I assess what needs to be done and pour myself into the job in hand until the deadline is met. I've worked solo on projects that are large enough for a team to handle and successfully led a team on a brief for a multinational company. I can handle stress and with time and the right people, I believe anything is possible.
