About me
I am 22 and am currently finishing up third and final year of an Undergraduate BA (Hons) Media Production course at Bournemouth University. So far on my course, I have made a documentary, an audio drama, and have had workshops in film editing, audio editing, camera setup, lighting setup, using a radio room, using cameras and sound equipment, photography and scriptwriting, as well as making a storyboard.
I started this course after I finished a BTEC Digital Media Studies course at DLD College London. I started this two year BTEC course in September 2021, and finished it in June 2023.
On my BTEC course, I learnt to film and edit short films, digital adverts, episodes from TV shows, film trailers, short documentaries, designed print adverts and magazine covers on Photoshop and Adobe InDesign, and learnt different digital photography techniques. I generally have a good knowledge and application of all things pre production and post production related, as well as experience with filming on camera, lighting, sound, making storyboards, scriptwriting, video log sheets, shot lists, call sheets, and production folders.
I also ran a professional YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo and Instagram account, all named Nick Droungas Productions, which used to showcase the practical work I did in my BTEC Media course.
I am currently looking to gain more shadowing experience in the media industry. I would be available on weekends and holidays.
