I am writing in response to your advertisement for a production Intern at Action Productions, and I would like to express my excitement at the prospect of working alongside you all.
I have gained valuable experience in the film and television industry over the past 7 years working as an actor and script editor, which has given me an extensive insight into film and commercial production on a number of levels. I am now looking to change the direction of my career, and move away from acting and into production, having taken short courses to better understand pre production planning and finance.
My passion and thirst for film and video content is unrivalled, and I feel that an opportunity to gain an entrance into production within a company as innovative and cutting edge as Action Productions, would be the ideal place for me to make use of the skills that I already have and a fantastic chance for me to learn and develop new ones. I am hard working, dedicated to learning, and have a strong desire to build a successful career in commercial production. I believe this attitude will prove fundamental in helping me to facilitate the smooth running of multiple projects at a time and prove me to be a valuable asset to the business.
I think that Action Productions have produced some fantastic and thought provoking work, with the kindness experiment one of the most shared and talked about pieces of work from last year. I would relish the opportunity to be part of such a creatively inspiring atmosphere.
As well as working on countless commercials and music videos, I have also participated in TV pitch meetings, and I have a wealth of experience within office administration, sales, and hospitality. I am confident that my unique skill set would ideally place me to handle such a diverse workload. I am confident, hardworking and dedicated to fulfilling my potential and crafting a successful career in advertisement and viral video production, and I feel that these attributes will enable me to build on existing relationships, and to develop new ones.
